Classical Nepal Bhasa or Traditional Nepal Bhasa is the pre modern Nepal Bhasa. The term "classical Newari" was first used by Jorgensen (1936), in which he stated, "The language I call classical Newari, is the language of the MSS (manuscripts)1.
